Pittsburgh Penguin Neckties

A Single Man

A Single Man. One of those films that you do not expect, simply because you do not believe that can really be something.
also striving, I can not stop thinking about it: keep coming back before the eyes of the mind images, words and light.
images. The pictures are really the key to this film, as in a film should be forever, but as it is now only rarely. The first floor, eyes, hands. The black ink spilled on the white sheet. Children laughing and jumping in the front garden. George running from Charley, desperately, she embraces him, comforts him, but you can not hear their words, because all you hear is the sound of rain, the noise of rain falling in and out of George. Yet you know what they are saying, you know it, and you know it all along.
And that picture of Jim in the safe, and what still stings. And on the sofa were two dogs, two books, two men and a life. And those unspoken words and clear and obvious, and sometimes you need to talk too much?
words, yes. George has all the answers, all the answers for others. Jim did not remember more words if not closer to this. And all the words that are related to Kenny a question mark. There is so much room for the words survive only those rights, in a struggle without kindness, survive tired, sometimes not even seem too sure you want to come out. It hurts to say them, are things that need to talk but that is impossible to say. But when they finally come out, make light.
Light, already. This light from which George escapes, more or less consciously. This light that surrounds the remainder of this light that lets gray. This light that touches, caresses, embraces, but only occasionally.
It 's a good light, to finally shake off the blindness.
Good light to decide finally.
A beautiful light. But nice as hell.
