Arrival and transfer to the Galilee, most beautiful and fertile region of the Holy Land. Evening arrival in Nazareth, "the flower of Galilee." Second-class hotel accommodation and full board for the duration of the trip. Day 2 NAZARETH Morning, climb on Mount Tabor and visit the Shrine of the Transfiguration, a stop at Cana in Galilee. In the afternoon visit the Sanctuary and the New Basilica of the Annunciation, the Church of St. Joseph, built on the site where the Holy Family lived. Day 3 NAZARETH Departure for the region of Lake Tiberias: boat crossing the lake, visits Tabga (place of the primacy of Peter and the multiplication of bread) and Capernaum (Synagogue and Peter's house), climb the Mount of Beatitudes (where Jesus spoke the Sermon on the Mount). Renewal of baptismal promises. Day 4 NAZARETH - BETHLEHEM Drive to the Dead Sea, a geological depression deeper than the earth, about 400 m. below sea level. Stop at Qumran, where in 1947 were found the famous manuscripts of the community of the Essenes. Evening arrival in Bethlehem, the city of Jesus' birth, and previously of King David. Day 5 BETHLEHEM Departure for Jerusalem, the "City of God". Sightseeing, sacred to the three monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The Mount of Olives: the garden of olive trees in Gethsemane, the Basilica of the Agony, the Chapel of the Pater Noster, the Chapel of Dominus Flevit. In the afternoon, the Cross through the streets of the old city and entrance to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre on Mount Calvary, built on the site where Jesus was crucified, and nearby, buried. Day 6 BETHLEHEM Morning, visit the Basilica of the Nativity and the grotto where Jesus was born, the Grotto of St. Jerome and the Shepherds' Fields, the place where the angels announced the birth of Christ. Afternoon, stop at Ain Karem, birthplace of St. John Baptist, and visit the Sanctuary of the Visitation. Day 7 BETHLEHEM Morning drive to visit Jerusalem and Mount Zion, the Upper Room where the Last Supper took place, and the Church of the Dormition, which commemorates the passage of the Madonna from earthly life to eternal life Church of St. Peter Gallicantu, reminiscent of Peter weeping after denying Jesus afternoon, stop at the Wailing Wall, the most magnificent ruins of the Temple of Herod. Visit the Church of St. Anna, born on the place where the birth of the Virgin Mary is venerated, the Sheep's Pool (healing of the paralytic), Cardo Maximo. Day 8 BETHLEHEM - TEL AVIV - VERONA End of pilgrimage.
