bad mood Miss Mansfield Park - Jane Austen's novels
I found, in this novel, an atmosphere quite different from that of other novels of Jane Austen: more melancholy, more sober, more introspective, quieter. Despite the irony of course do not miss (the grotesque Mrs. Norris is one of the most successful minor characters, in my opinion, all the novels of Jane Austen), it seemed more covert, less obvious. Gives way to melancholy calm, everything in the novel fits the character of Fanny Price.
Fanny, this frail creature, gentle, modest, submissive, deep melancholy, which has remained in my heart no less certain of a strong or wise Elizabeth Elinor.
impossible not to love Fanny, equally impossible not to hate the most negative characters. Where such a course could have some excuse Willoughby, where even a Wickham could somehow be justified, hence the joint action of Mary and Henry Crawford is literally deadly. The ability to Jane Austen's lively and vivid characters make you feel both positive and negative.
The descriptions of places are no less effective: it seems to be sitting beside Edmund and Fanny, in the coach who comes to Mansfield Park, and reveals the landscape lush and alive, in agreement with the joy of Fanny was at home, but contrasting with the anxiety of Edmund and the recent disappointment of his hopes.
seems to be there, alongside Fanny, forever, and is willing to stand up and take her defense when she is too shy and modest to dare.
not that, what a book which should serve to live more than read the pages? Mansfield Park rimmarrà for me one of the best literary escapes of all time.

Round Table - Lancelot of the Lake's childhood, the Merlin 'Charmer, The Romance of Launcelot of the Lake
day before yesterday I finished reading the first volume of collection of texts of Matter Breton edited by Jacques Boulenger. Since
Matter so vast, it is difficult to give an opinion unit, even if only on the first volume - in any case is divided into three parts: 's childhood Lancelot of the Lake, Merlin the Enchanter , G loves them Lancelot of the Lake .
I do not deny that it is not exactly easy reading ... I know many people, even avid readers, rather, that would have ousted after a dozen pages. And in fact it is so far the world of these knights brave, beautiful and fascinating of these ladies, this magic that pervades the air, these stunning creatures, which is really hard rapportarcisi.
Yet, once you find the right size, the right distance from which to get the best view of the show, may give these stories. It is not just the story of deeds and feats: it is the description of very different minds, almost irreconcilable, but that between them share their virtues such as purity, loyalty, courage. These feelings and feel so high as to make you dizzy.
And the fact that it is all very unreal does that give the narrative a further aura of wonder - and add a touch of bitterness the apparent impossibility of a world in which we would like to flee forever.
I must say that I particularly loved the first part, Lancelot's childhood. The sweetness that emerges from these pages, despite their aulic and in their posting, it is disarming. The wonder of the medieval tales of chivalry - one of many - is that there will never forget the heroes, before becoming what we all know, were children. And as their childhood is full of wonders and feats what their adult lives, is the sweetness that no child in the world can never lose.
But definitely worth the part dedicated to the love of Lancelot and Merlin for Queen Guinevere. Above all, the final error of Merlin - if your error is, then - struck me greatly, although he knew the future and knowing what will be his ruin, he can not say no to the love that is inspired by Vivian. And although the intent of providing you with certainty, however, continues to teach her all his magical knowledge, to the last lesson: how to create a prison from which air is impossible to escape.
And even trapped in his prison, a victim of his own love, I am sure that Merlin does not repent. Wonder.
